Cats love on Ojika Island
Ever heard about Japan's cat island? Cuddling with these cute living creatures all day long and playing around like there is no tomorrow. Certainly the first thing that will come to your mind is Aoshima. But have you ever heard about Ojika?
On this small island the most common animals you will get to see are fishes, cows, hawks, insects and of course...CATS!!! It probably all started with just a few cats another person brought here long ago, but now there are plenty of them all around. The chance to see one of the small baby cats is high and during the right season you will probably also be able to spot some elders making love in the middle of the street. It is just so amusing to watch all of them while doing funny things like climbing up a pillar, hiding in some hiking shoes or sleeping on a roof. You will never be bored!
Just around the Goen INN there are about 20 cats enjoying their life to the fullest. You will be able to recognize them by their tiny bell so make sure to listen carefully while walking around this area.
Some people just come to this small island for the cats. Maybe the last book you were reading consisted of pictures of kitties from Ojika?
So if you need someone to cuddle and comfort you, here on Ojika there are plenty of cute little cats waiting for your hugs and love.
